The Bhumirak Dhamachart Project is Nakhon Nayok's new tourism resort oozing knowledge and pleasure plus entertainment from indoor and outdoor exhibitions. It trains those interested in applying the ideas and theories of the King to their daily life. The centre has been training government officials and the general public. The landscape is constructed in an efficient way: it receives and harnesses the first drops of water, which gain in volume and finally flow out into the sea, in other words "from the sky to the mountain to the sea". Attendees can witness the efficient water management every step of the way as the King's theory is put into practice. Once water is well managed, soil management becomes effective and as a result helps improve and preserve the fertility of the ecological system including forests. The next lesson is to teach people step by step how to benefit from nature to create jobs and live a sustainable, self-dependent life. Every activity can be applied to daily life to develop higher standards, and to learn to use limited natural resources, including conserving the environment for future generations.
